NaturemiRI’s Plasmid-based microRNA Inhibitor System (PMIS) technology was developed by researchers in the Carver College of Medicine at the University of Iowa. This technology was developed in response to the need for a biologic-based approach to microRNA inhibition that would allow researchers to more effectively study the effects of knocking down endogenous microRNAs in vivo.
After 8 years of development, the team at NaturemiRI has refined the PMIS approach and are now prepared to share this exciting new innovation with the growing body of researchers who are focused on microRNA function in their research.
